Focus and Scope

The CLARION is a multidisciplinary international journal started in 1994 and presently sponsored by the Centre for Environment, Education and Economic Development (CEEED), Assam and also corporate bodies and like ONGC, OIL, NRL etc. CEEED, is devoted to publishing original, peer-reviewed research papers on main aspects of environmental sciences, such as environmental chemistry, environmental biology, ecology, geosciences and environmental physics and also socio economic issues including literature. As the journal will have two sections namely Science and Humanities, appropriate subjects include basic and applied research on atmospheric, terrestrial and aquatic environments, pollution control and abatement technology, and conservation of natural resources, environmental health and toxicology, research on socio economic issues, literature. Announcements of international environmental science meetings and meetings related to humanities and Socio economic issues and other recent information are also included. Recently, the Journal has been provided with ISSN (International Standard Serial Number), thus helping the young generation researchers to publish their research works in a standard Journal.

The objectives are to report on the latest research achievements and developments; to strengthen academic exchanges; to promote cooperation in science and technology; and to contribute to the progress in sciences and humanities at large. The journal's board of reviewing editors consists of a galaxy of members belonging to diverse disciplines of Science and Humanities from India and across the globe.

Peer Review Process

Every manuscript is independently reviewed by peers. If two or more reviewers consider the manuscript unsuitable for publication in this journal, a statement for the decision will be sent to authors within one or two months of the submitting date. Manuscripts rejected will not be returned to the authors. A manuscript sent back to an author for revision should be returned to the editor within a month from the date of return.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
